Back for her third season on the bench as an assistant coach is former U.S. National Team member Patrice Arrington.

"I'm very excited to have someone with Patrice's playing experience in the gym helping to train our team. Sharing her experiences with Oklahoma, the U.S. National Team, and in professional leagues can only help our players to get better," said Volkert.

Arrington came to Rose Hill prior to the 2009 season with a vast array of volleyball experience as a collegiate and professional athlete, as well as in the coaching ranks. She started her volleyball career at the University of Oklahoma, where she was a 1997 ASICS All-American and still holds the Sooners' all-time kills record at 1,957.

On top of her play at Oklahoma, Arrington was a two-time member of the U.S. National Team from 1997-99 and in 2005 under the guidance of head coaches Mick Haley (1997-99) and "Jenny" Lang Ping (2005). In addition to that, she is an accomplished professional, playing ten seasons across the globe in the Netherlands, Belgium, Russia, Italy, Puerto Rico, and most recently in Azerbaijan.

In addition to her playing career, Arrington served as a volunteer assistant coach at George Washington University during the 2000-09 season, where she coached a number All-Atlantic 10 performers and an All-Rookie Team selections, and was a part of the 2000 Atlantic 10 Championship team. She also served as an assistant coach at the high school level at Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, D.C. for six seasons (2003-08). Arrington graduated from Oklahoma in 1999 with a degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology.
