Before Fordham: A graduate of Briar Wood High School in Ashburn, Va., where she rowed for four years... An accomplished sculler as well as sweep rower... In her senior year she competed at Mid-Atlantic Erg Sprints and won gold in the single... Also won the Head of the Potomac, placed third at the Cooper Cup, first at the USRowing Mid Atlantic Rowing Championship, fourth at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta and sixth at the SRAA.... Qualified and competed at the 2016 US Youth Championship Regatta.
