Before Fordham: Played varsity baseball for four years and three years of varsity basketball at Hawthorne High School... Served as team captain of both squads... Was a three-time First Team All-League pick in baseball... Two-time Second Team All-County selection in baseball... Was also a First team All-League pick for basketball his senior year... Member of the National Honor Society.
