Assistant Coach Salee Johnson-Edwards enters her second season as an assistant coach with the Fordham University women's basketball team.

She previously served a stint as an assistant coach at Monmouth in 2010-11, under Fordham head coach Stephanie Gaitley, and as the head coach of Harford Community College from 2008-2010.

Johnson-Edwards is in charge of film breakdown and community service for the Rams, and recruits in her native country of Canada. On the court, she will work with the Fordham guards. In 2010-11, Johnson-Edwards was a member of Gaitley's staff at Monmouth, helping the Hawks to a 23-10 overall record, 13-5 in the Northeast Conference, as Monmouth advanced to the NEC title game. Following the NEC Tournament, the Hawks received their first ever WNIT bid and its first postseason appearance since making the 1983 NCAA Tournament.

Before her stint at Monmouth, Johnson-Edwards served as the head coach at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland, for two years. The Brampton, Ontario native also led the I.E.M U16 girls' basketball team of the Ontario Basketball Association.

A 2007 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Johnson-Edwards earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and was a member of the Wildcats' basketball team. She started 28 games as a senior, averaging 5.0 points, 2.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds, while finishing third in the America East Conference in assist-to-turnover ratio. Johnson-Edwards is married to Tyson Edwards, and have one daughter, Sydnee.
