James Hett, a 2011 Monmouth graduate, enters his third season at Fordham as the Women's Basketball Administrative Assistant. His responsibilities include assisting with the marketing efforts, coordinating camps and clinics and office management.

Hett was a four-year starter at guard for the Hawks' basketball team and he ranked second in career assists at Monmouth with 492. As a junior in 2009-10, he ranked first in the Northeast Conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (+2.34) and third in assists per game (4.68). Hett finished his senior campaign ranked 41st in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio.

The Staten Island, New York, native graduated from Monsignor Farrell High School in 2007, where he was a 1,000-point scorer with the men's basketball squad. He led the Lions to consecutive 22-5 seasons in 2005 and 2006, including a Staten Island High School League Championship in 2005 and was named the Jacques Award Winner in 2007 as the best player on Staten Island. Hett was a two-time Staten Island Advance All-Star and two-time Daily News All-Star.

Hett received a degree in Business Management from Monmouth.
