Before Fordham: A four-year letter winner at York High School under head coach Mona Blais... Named the Maine Sunday Telegram Player of the Year as a senior after helping the Wildcats to their first Class B state championship final in 25 years, finishing the season with 303 strikeouts in just 119 innings, including 64 over 29 postseason frames, and a 16-1 overall record... Finishes her career with 684 strikeouts... Also found success at the plate, leading the team with a .632 batting average, with four home runs and 24 runs batted in... A Telegram All-State selection and Western Maine Class A&B Player of the Year honoree her final two years... First Team All-Western Maine Conference all four years...
