Biography

2016: Steadily continued her climb up the all-time program pitching ranks as she finished her career in the Bronx, rebounding from a five-week injury layoff with spectacular performances in the circle in the season’s final series and especially at the A-10 Tournament… Named A-10 Pitcher of the Week once… Despite missing time, still compiled a 16-12 record with 17 complete games, four shutouts and two saves in 37 appearances (25 starts)… Hurled a team-high 177.1 innings, allowing 188 hits and striking out 155, good for a 3.67 ERA… Nailed down first win of the season with seven two-run innings against Rutgers at UCF Invitational (2/13)… Dazzled against North Florida with the first shutout of her season, allowing just six hits and no walks while striking out 12 in seven innings (2/26)… Earned win number three with a complete game, allowing just two runs on four hits and no walks while striking out 10 to make it 24 punch outs in 14 innings over two days at the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic… Picked up fifth win of the season with a complete game against Iowa State, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks… Allowed three runs in the third inning but fanned a season-best 14 batters over seven innings to pick up her sixth win (3/11)… Picked up sixth win with six innings of two-run ball, allowing four hits and a walk, while striking out seven against Saint Peter’s, with just one hit allowed over her final five frames (3/13)… Hurled four scoreless innings of relief for win number nine against Towson (3/18)… Kicked off conference play against Massachusetts with a complete game victory, her 10th of the season, allowing three runs in seven innings while striking out nine (3/25)… Dazzled in the rubber game against Massachusetts, firing a one-hit shutout with no walks allowed and four punchouts (3/26)… Threw four shutout innings, allowing a hit and a walk with six strikeouts at Iona (3/31)… Went the distance at Saint Joseph’s with two runs allowed on five hits and one walk while punching out seven for her 12th win (4/2)… Returned from a five-week layoff to appear twice on Senior Day in a doubleheader against George Mason, first in relief, tossing a perfect inning for her first career save, and then starting game two and going the distance, allowing just five hits and a walk, while striking out seven, for the complete game shutout (5/7)… Completed a fantastic comeback weekend with her 14th win with four innings of one-run ball in relief, allowing just four hits and striking out six (5/8)… Took a tough-luck loss in the first game of the A-10 Tournament against Saint Joseph’s, allowing just a solo home run in seven complete innings, which was one of three hits allowed, with no walks and five strikeouts, to pick up her 10th loss of the season (5/13)… Rebounded with a stunning 12-inning complete game shutout performance in an elimination game against #2 Dayton, allowing just four hits and no walks, while striking out five, despite there being a two-hour rain delay in the middle of the contest (5/14)… Gutted out a crucial victory against Saint Joseph’s to force a do-or-die title bout with the Hawks but allowing just three runs over eight full innings, walking two and striking out 10 (5/15)… Notched career save number two with 1.2 shutout innings, allowing just one single, in the A-10 championship-clinching game against the Hawks (5/15)… Named the A-10 Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player and to the All-Tournament team… Finished out her career with two starts at the NCAA Regional in Eugene, suffering losses to both #5 Oregon and Long Beach State (5/20-21)… In the lineup as either the pitcher or DP, batted .302/.324/.439 on the season with three home runs and 28 runs driven in… Tallied 42 hits, including eight doubles and a triple, and stole her first career base… Enjoyed 2-for-3 performance against #19 James Madison with her first RBI of the season, a single in the fourth inning (2/20)… Drove in the eventual game-winning run with a RBI single against Syracuse, finishing with two hits and a run in four at bats (2/26)… Collected two more hits in three at bats with two runs scored against Morgan State (2/27)… Made her lone hit count against Iowa State with a three-run go-ahead home run on the first pitch she saw in her second at bat of three (3/6)… Provided the game-winning RBI in the next game, the home opener against Providence, with a run scoring single in the fourth inning and started the scoring in game two against the Friars with a two-run single in the first (3/11)… Went 2-for-3 with a run scored against Saint Peter’s (3/12)… Entered the seventh inning with just a walk in four plate appearances against Hofstra and tied the game up at 11-11 with a RBI single to center (3/16)… Went a perfect 3-for-3 against Mount St. Mary’s with two RBIs and two runs scored (3/18)… Reached on a fielder’s choice and stole the only stolen base of her career against Mount St. Mary’s (3/19)… Hit a two-run home run later in the day against Towson (3/19)… Provided the eventual game-winning run with a two-run home run, finishing 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored, against Massachusetts (3/25)… Provided all the offense the Rams needed thanks to her terrific pitching with a fourth inning RBI single, plus a double later in the game, against Massachusetts (3/26)… Made her lone hit in game one at Saint Joseph’s count with a RBI double in the sixth inning (4/2)… Went 2-for-3 with a RBI double and RBI single in game two against the Hawks (4/2)… Her RBI double in the third inning proved to be the eventual game-winning run, her lone hit in three at bats, in a win over Massachusetts in the A-10 Tournament (5/15)… Finishes her Fordham career as one of the best pitchers in the program's history, entering many all-tive top-fives in the record book: She has the fifth-most appearances (101), fifth-most starts (69), fifth-most innings pitched (467.2), fourth-most complete games (39), fourth-most wins (48), third-most strikeouts (470), and third-most shutouts (13) all-time... With appearances in nine of the team's final 10 contests after returning from her five-week layoff, her 177.1 total innings pitched on the season just made it into the top-10 in a single season in program history...

2015: Produced one of the top pitching seasons and overall two-way seasons in Fordham history... Voted First Team All-Atlantic 10 as a pitcher and Second Team All-Atlantic 10 as a designated player... Named the Most Outstanding Player of the Atlantic 10 Championship... Voted First Team NFCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region as a pitcher/designated player... Selected to the Second Team of the ECAC Division I Softball All-Star Team as a pitcher... In the circle, appeared in 39 contests (tied for most in the conference), with 33 starts (led the conference), sporting a record of 24-9 (led the conference in wins) and a 2.33 ERA (ranked fourth in the conference) over 213.1 innings of work (led the conference)... Tossed 20 complete games, including eight shutouts, and fanned 250 (led the conference), with 52 looking to lead the conference while limiting opponents to a .223 batting average (ranked fourth in the conference)... The 33 starts are the third most in the program's single-season history, the 20 complete games tie for the sixth most, the 24 victories are tied for the third most, the 213.1 innings pitched is the fourth most, the 250 strikeouts are the fourth most, and the eight shutouts are the third most... Recorded nine games with double-digit strikeouts... Tossed a three-hitter and struck out eight over 6.2 innings to record her first victory of the season in a win over Pacific (2/7)... Yielded just three hits and whiffed 11 in a complete-game shutout victory over St. John's (2/13)... Went the distance over 8.0 innings and fanned a career-high 15 in a win at Furman (2/20)... Pitched all 9.0 innnings, allowed no earned runs and struck out 12 (one walk) in a victory over Lipscomb (3/14)... Struck out 12 more in a loss at Saint Louis (3/21)... Fanned 11 and tossed a complete-game shutout in a win over La Salle (3/29)... Struck out 12 in her next apperance in a complete-game victory over Syracuse (4/1)... Whiffed 10 in a complete-game shutout against Saint Joseph's (4/18), before coming back the next day (4/19) to strike out eight more Hawks in another complete-game shutout... Made it three straight complete-game shutouts in a win over George Washington (4/25)... Would eventually toss five consecutive complete games, including a 14-strikeout performance at George Mason (5/2) in a complete-game shutout to cap the run... Took the ball in the opener of the Atlantic 10 Championship against St. Bonaventure (5/6) and went the distance, striking out 11 (one walk)... Tossed 6.2 innings to earn the victory over George Mason (5/8) and advance to the title game, before sending the Rams to the NCAA Tournament with a complete-game, seven-strikeout effort against top-seeded Dayton (5/9)... Pitched a two-hit shutout and struck out six in an elimination game win over Binghamton (5/16) at the Harrisonburg Regional, before producing a gutsy performance in a complete game 2-1 oss to North Carolina State (5/17) in the finals... Overall started 46 of 50 games also playing as a designated player... Slashed .374/.401/.568 with 16 runs, 52 hits, nine doubles, six home runs, 39 RBI and a team-best four sacrifice flies... .374 batting average ranked second on the team, while the .568 slugging percentage led the Rams... Produced 11 multi-hit games... Constructed a 17-game hitting streak from 3/25-4/22 and would hit safely in 22 of 23 games and 27 of the final 29 contests of the season... Collected a career high three hits (in three at-bats), including a double, drove home two and scored a run in a victory at South Florida (2/14)... Slugged her first home run of the season in a win over Iona (3/25), which started the 17-game hit streak... Finished 3-for-3 with a RBI in the series-opening victory over La Salle (3/29)... Smacked a pair of doubles, scored once and drove home one in the win over Syracuse (4/1)... Went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and three RBI in a victory over Siena (4/6)... Finished 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI to help complete the series sweep at Massachusetts (4/12)... Collected a career-high four RBI and two hits, including home run number two, to claim the victory in the first game of a doubleheader at St. Bonaventure (4/15)... Knocked her third home of the season, a two-run shot, to help start the series sweep over Saint Joseph's (4/18), before hitting another two-run homer the next day (4/19) in the series finale... Went 2-for-3 with a run scored in the Atlantic 10 Championship-opening victory over St. Bonaventure (5/6)... Besides tossing a complete game in the finals of the Atlantic 10 Championship victory over top-seeded Dayton (5/9), finished 2-for-4 with two runs and four RBI, which all came on her fifth home run of the season, a grand slam that gave the Rams a commanding six-run lead in the top of the seventh... Finished 2-for-4 with her sixth home run of the season in the loss to North Carolina State (5/15) in the first game of the Harrisonburg Regional... Helped herself at the plate by driving in the Rams only run in the 2-1 loss to North Carolina State (5/17) in the regional final...

2014: Flawlessly entered the Rams’ starting lineup after nearly two full years sidelined by injury… Made 25 appearances in the circle and started 31 games in either left field, right field or at the designated player position… Compiled an 8-4 record as a hurler, striking out 65 batters and surrendering only 43 walks in 77.0 innings of work… Became the fourth pitcher in Fordham history to record a no-hitter when she blanked St. Bonaventure (4/22)… Named Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week once... Picked up the first win of her Fordham career against Chattanooga (2/7)… Struck out two and allowed only two hits against San Diego State (2/20)… Allowed only three runs in 6.0 innings of work against #6 Oregon (2/22)… Registered a victory against Virginia, where she started her college career (3/20)… Notched another win two days later against George Washington (3/22)… Made it three straight appearances with a win when she held Marist two just one run on two hits (3/27)… Struck out five apiece in back-to-back appearances against Lehigh (4/9) and Rhode Island (4/12)… Threw 4.0 innings of no-hit ball in relief and struck out five when the Rams hosted Saint Louis (4/17)… Tossed the 13th no hitter in school history against St. Bonaventure (4/22)… Tallied her eighth win of the year at La Salle (4/26)… Made appearances against Florida State (5/16) and South Carolina (5/17) at Tallahassee Regional… At the dish, hit .239 on the season, knocking in seven runs… Picked up her first hits of the year in a two-hit performance against Western Michigan (3/8)… Picked up another hit later on in the day against Chattanooga (3/8)... Tallied her first RBI of the year when the Rams opened up their home season against Marist (3/27)… Began a season-high four-game hitting streak against George Mason (4/5)… Went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and a RBI against Army (4/10)… Picked up a RBI against Binghamton (4/13)… Registered her first multi-RBI game of the year in the first game of a doubleheader against St. Bonaventure (4/22)… Went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in addition to throwing her first collegiate no-hitter against St. Bonaventure (4/22)… Went 2-for-4 with a double in the second game of a doubleheader at La Salle (4/26)… Picked up a hit in all three games of the Atlantic 10 Championship, including a two-RBI effort in the opener against Massachusetts (5/8)… Registered a hit in the Tallahassee Regional against South Carolina (5/17)...   

2013: Did not suit up for the Rams in 2013...

At Virginia: Made 18 starts in 19 appearances as a freshman for Virginia in 2012... Posted five wins, 64 strikeouts in 87.1 innings and nine complete games... Had a season-high eight strikeouts in a game vs. Colgate (2/25)...

High School: Played four years of varsity softball for Walter Hagelstein at Archmere Academy... Chosen as the Delaware Gatorade Player of the Year three times... Two-time Delaware Player of the Year (2010 & 2011)... Three-time All-American selection by UnderArmour (2009-11) while being named a 2011 All-American by EA Sports and Max Preps... Named First Team All-State and All-Conference all four years of high school... Compiled a 69-10 record and a 0.31 ERA iand finished with 1,161 strikeouts and 25 no-hitters... Served as team captain... Ranked as the #6 recruit in the nation by College Sports Madness in 2011... Helped lead the Gold Coast Hurricanes to a Second-Place finish in the 2010 Gold Nationals...

Personal: Graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication & media studies... Now working towards a master's degree in media management.
