• Led the team to the Southern Conference title.
• Shot 42.9% from behind the arc.
• Notched six double-doubles in the year, including one against NJCAA No. 10 Florida SouthWestern, in which he had 19 points and 13 rebounds.
• Recorded a triple-double against Miami Dade College with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.  
• Scored a season-high 24 points and grabbed ten rebounds in a game with Florida Southwestern State.
• Named Player of the week after averaging 15.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.5 steals in two games.
 
Before College
• Attended PHS Academy in Tampa, Florida, in 2018-2019.
• A graduate of The Rock High School in Gainesville, Florida.
• Helped The Rock go 33-4 in 2017-2018.
• Recorded most wins by a player at The Rock in school history.
• A 1,000-point scorer.
• Named Second Team All-State by Source Hoops and the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches.

Personal
• Son of Kiesha and DeWayne Charlton.
• Has nine siblings.
• Brother, Jamari Wheeler, played four years at Penn State (2017-2021) where he was named to the 2020 and 2021 Big Ten All-Defensive team.  Jamari also played a year at Ohio State.
