Biography
2014-15: Was the Rams' top performer in the backstroke events... Competed in a total of five events (3 individual, 2 relay) at the Atlantic 10 Championships, helping Fordham score in four of those events... Scored 12th in both the 100 (50.31) and 200 (1:49.82) backstroke events, while helping the 200 medley (1:31.71) and 400 medley (3:22.81) relays finish seventh and eighth place, respectively... Also finished 21st in the 500 freestyle (4:38.61)... Won the 500 freestyle event against St. Francis (NY) in 4:53.36, while taking second in the 200 IM (2:00.10)... Finished second in the 100 backstroke (51.92) and third in the 200 backstroke (1:55.23) against Massachusetts... Won the 100 backstroke versus La Salle (52.65)... Took first in the 50 backstroke against Manhattan (24.88)... Was 17th in both the 100 (52.11) and 200 (1:52.81) backstroke events at the Bucknell Invitational... Grabbed third in both backstroke events versus Boston University (100 - 53.59; 200 - 1:55.93)... Placed second in the 100 backstroke against Connecticut (53.47)... Won the 200 SCM freestyle event at Fairfield in 2:01.19, while taking second in the 400 SCM freestyle (4:19.61)... Was second in the 200 backstroke in the season-opening meet against Marist (1:54.08).
Before Fordham: Four-year varsity swimmer at Ramapo High School... Team captain... First Team All-League in the backstroke events and 500 freestyle... Second Team All-County selection in the 100 backstroke... Participated in club swimming for the Wyckoff YMCA Sharks, where he served as team captain... YMCA National qualifier on short course three times (2012-14) and long course four times (2011-14).
