Kaitlyn Carter joined the Fordham Sports Medicine staff in the Fall of 2021 after most recently serving as an athletic trainer at UCLA in Spring 2021. He will primarily handle the men's soccer and swimming & diving programs.
At UCLA, she worked with the women's beach volleyball, which won the 2021 PAC12 Championship and was a finalist at the NCAA Championship.
Prior to UCLA, Carter spent three years at Azusa Pacific University, as the athletic trainer for the football (2017-20), softball (2020), and track & field (2019) teams. She was also an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator at Asuza Pacific, managing concussed student athletes and subsequent data collection entry for the NCAA-DoD Grand Alliance CARE Consortium.
Carter is a 2014 graduate from Oregon State University with a degree in Athletic Trainer, serving as a student trainer during her time, before heading to St. John's University for graduate school, earning her Master's degree in Sports Management in 2017. She has BOC, CES, and SFMA certification and is a member of the NATA.
