Biography

2003: Appeared in 41 games, starting 39… Had 37 starts behind the plate and two at designated hitter… Named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 in 2003… Hit .333 with nine home runs and 34 RBI… Led the Rams in home runs and RBI… Finished seventh in the Atlantic 10 in slugging percentage at .589 and tied for eighth in home runs… Also registered seven doubles and eight stolen bases… Hit .304 in conference play with six home runs and 23 runs driven in… Recorded 10 multi-hit games and led the team with 10 multi-RBI games… Had a career day in the second game of a doubleheader at Xavier, going 3-for-4 with two home runs and a career-high five RBI (3/22)… Went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs scored, a home run, and two RBI versus Long Island (3/15)… Recorded his second two-home run game of the year against Saint Joseph’s, going 2-for-3 with three RBI (4/19)… Was 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs scored, and three RBI against Temple (5/3)… Went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI versus UMass (4/14).

Before Fordham: Played four years of baseball and golf at Danvers… Was a conference all-star in baseball his final three years… Named team captain, team MVP, and All-Scholastic for baseball by The Boston Herald in his senior year… Broke career records for home runs (17), triples (11), and RBI (101) at Danvers… Also a conference all-star in golf his junior and senior season… Member of the Foreign Language National Honor Society.
