Before Fordham: A graduate of Gulfport High School in Gulfport, Miss., where he played three years of basketball for head coach Owen Miller... Averaged 22.2 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 1.6 steals/game as a junior in 2013-14, leading Gulfport to the Mississippi Class 6A championship... Hit a pair of free throws with 9.3 seconds left, two of his game-high 30 points, in the title game to lead the Admirals to the victory... Was named to the Sun Herald’s All-South Mississippi team and to the Clarion-Ledger’s Dandy Dozen team following that season...  Moved to Arlington Day School in Jacksonville, Fla., to start his senior season where he averaged about 13 points, five rebounds per game to start the season... Moved back to Gulfport in January but was unable to compete with the basketball team.
