After serving as the Fordham men's basketball Director of Program Management in 2023-24, Shannon Lulley assumed the role of Senior Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Initiatives for the school in July of 2024.
In her current role Lulley is responsible for providing critical capacity to execute University initiatives and the department’s strategic plan. She will serve as a liaison between several external and internal leaders to ensure priority projects are advancing in a timely fashion. Lulley will also support the director of athletics in several capacities including facilitating cross-team communication, performing various administrative/scheduling tasks, and managing initiatives and special projects. She will also manage all diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for the department.

Working with the men's basketball program in 2023-24 Lulley worked closely with men’s basketball head coach Keith Urgo, managing all administrative day-to-day operations. She also monitored all student-athlete campus activities including housing, athletic scholarships, and financial aid. Additionally, Lulley worked with the recruiting coordinator on planning official and unofficial visits and communicated and guided student-athletes through Name, Likeness, and Image (NIL) inquiries.

Prior to her current assignment, Lulley served as the Associate Director of Athletic Development at Fordham from November of 2021 until November of 2023. She fundraised for 22 varsity sports and additional club sports to offset operational needs, create endowed scholarships, and support the athletic department’s greatest needs through mail and email solicitations, meetings, and phone calls. She also planned and executed Giving Tuesday and Giving Day campaigns, including identifying lead donors, matching and challenge gifts, creating individualized email and social media campaigns for each varsity team and all club teams.

From June 2020 until November 2021 Lulley served as the Assistant Director of the Fordham Fund, Family Giving and Engagement. She oversaw the Parent Ambassador Committee, a group of parents of current and former students, and coordinated volunteer opportunities virtually, regionally, and on campus for parents to participate in as part of membership.

A 2016 graduate of Fordham University with a degree in Communication and Media Studies, Lulley was a four-year member of the women’s swimming and diving program, serving as a captain as a senior. She received an MBA with a concentration in Management from Wagner College in 2019.
