Moves from the offensive line to the defensive line in 2009... enters camp as a backup to Jordan Bledsoe at defensive tackle...saw limited varsity action last year... contributed on the offensive line and special teams in 2007... picked up some experience on the offensive line as a freshman, appearing in eight games... started one game at left guard. 2008: Appeared in two games as a junior (Rhode Island and Dayton). 2007: Appeared in nine games as a sophomore, both on the offensive line and special teams. 2006: Appeared in eight games on the offensive line and special teams as a freshman, starting one at left guard. Before Fordham: A graduate of Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey... member of the 2004 New Jersey State champions... a 2004 & 2005 Second Team All-League selection... two-way starter (DT/OT). Personal: Born May 30, 1988...son of Peggy and Frank Rizzo... parents are both 1983 graduates of Fordham University... has two younger brothers, Gerard, who is a junior on the team this year, and Joe... also has three younger sisters (Mary and twins Catherine and Denise)... majoring in Theology/Religious Studies.
