Before Fordham: A graduate of Byron Steele II High School in Cibolo, Texas, where he lettered in football for head coach Scott Lehnoff... Team USA (Blue) National Football Team Captain in 2014... member of the Team USA U-17 National Championship squad... notched 61 knockdown blocks in 2013… also had 14 receptions for 388 yards and one score in 2013… a two-year varsity starter… a multi-sport athlete in high school, playing football and basketball where he averaged 5 ppg and 7 rpg... member of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).

Personal: Son of Vanessa and Eugene Kennedy… has a younger brother (Marquette)… has not declared a major.
