Biography

Became an important part of the offensive line last fall, appearing in eight games, making two starts at right guard... should vie for the starting right guard spot in 2011... gained important experience on the offensive line in 2009... also handled the long snapping duties the past two years... came in as a freshman and gave the Rams depth on the offensive line as well as a solid long snapper... handled a majority of the long snapping chores as a freshman... named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2008, 2009 and 2010. 2010: Appeared in eight games on the offensive line as junior, playing mostly at right guard... started two games... helped the offense average 176.0 rushing yards per game, second in the Patriot League and 31st best in the NCAA FCS... Fordham offense was also ranked second in overall offense in the Patriot League (383.5 yards/game)... offensive line also allowed just 16 sacks in eleven games, third best in the Patriot League. 2009: Appeared in five games as a sophomore in 2009... started one game at left guard against Holy Cross. 2008: Appeared in nine games as a freshman, both on the offensive line and as long snapper. Before Fordham: A graduate of Mahwah High School in Mahwah, N.J., where he lettered in football, basketball and track and field... a First Team All-League offensive tackle and Third Team All-County selection in 2007... a Second Team All-League pick in football in 2005 and 2006... earned Honorable Mention All-League honors in the shot put in 2008... served as a team captain for all three sports... a National Merit Scholar.
