Ryan Davis, former graduate assistant coach at Louisiana Tech, was named an assistant football coach at Fordham University in March of 2016. Davis will be responsible for the Fordham cornerbacks in 2016.

Davis served as offensive graduate assistant coach at Louisiana Tech last fall, working with the running backs and helping the Bulldogs to a 9-4 record and an appearance in the New Orleans Bowl, where they defeated Arkansas State. Davis worked with first team All-Conference USA running back Kenneth Dixon who rushed 1,070 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2015, becoming the only player in school history to rush for more than 1,000 yards in three straight seasons.
Davis was also responsible for weekly scouting reports, opponent film breakdown and coordinating the scout defense and special teams at Louisiana Tech.

Prior to his stint at Louisiana Tech, Davis served in an offensive quality control position at his alma mater, Campbell University, where he assisted with special teams while also assisting with opponent breakdowns and scouting reports.

A 2013 graduate of Campbell University with a degree in business marketing, Davis was a five-year member of the Campbell football team as a defensive back and running back. He earned a spot on the Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll while helping the Camels to a record season in 2011, finishing with a winning overall and Pioneer Football League record for the first time since the sport was reestablished at the school in 2008.
