Patrick Maguire, a 2009 graduate of the University of Connecticut, begins his second season on the Fordham staff, having served as the Director of Football Operations last year. This fall, Maguire will also serve as an assistant wide receiver coach for the Rams. While a student at Connecticut, Maguire served as a student assistant coach for the Huskies from 2008-09. He was responsible for setting up the weekly defensive scout information board as well as assisting the defensive coaches. He also created weekly video cut-ups and broke down and analyzed the opponents' passing game. Prior to serving as an assistant, Maguire was an equipment manager at UConn in 2007-08. Maguire received a degree in history from Connecticut in December of 2009.
