Kevin Decker, a 2012 UNH graduate, starts his fourth year at Fordham as the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach in 2021. He joined the Rams in February of 2019 after serving as an assistant at Brown University the previous three years. He was the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for the Bears in 2018, the youngest offensive coordinator in the Ivy League, after coaching the Brown tight ends his first two years in Providence.

Last fall, the Fordham offense, under Decker's guidance, led the Patriot League and ranked eleventh in the NCAA FCS in passing offense (296.7 yards/game) and led the League and ranked 12th in the NCAA FCS in total offense (447.5 yards/game). The Rams were second in the PL and 18th in the NCAA FCS in scoring offense (33.6 points/game) and led the PL and ranked 22nd in the NCAA in fewest sacks allowed (1.36/game).

In 2021, quarterback Tim DeMorat earned his second straight Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year honor, after throwing 31 touchdown passes, seventh most for an NCAA FCS player. Six other Rams were named All-Patriot League, led by offensive lineman Nick Zakelj, a consensus All-American who was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers.

In 2020-21, Decker led a Fordham offense that led the Patriot League, and was 17th in the NCAA FCS, in scoring, averaging 31.7 points/game. The 2020-2021 Fordham offense also led the League and was 14th in the NCAA FCS in total offense (433.3 yards/game) and led the League and was sixth in the NCAA FCS in passing offense (349.7 yards/game). Junior quarterback Tim DeMorat earned Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year honors and was joined by five other Rams on the offense in earning First Team All-League accolades.

In 2019, Decker made an immediate impact to the Fordham offense, a unit that led the Patriot League in passing offense and scoring offense. Sophomore quarterback Tim DeMorat, who led the Patriot League in passing yards and passing touchdowns, earned First Team All-League honors as did junior running back Zach Davis, the top rusher in the conference.

In 2018, Decker helped freshman quarterback Michael McGovern lead the Ivy League in passing yards/game and finish second in total offense. He also saw tight end Anton Casey earn second team All-Ivy honors after leading the conference in receptions for a tight end.

Decker joined the Brown coaching staff after working as an offensive assistant at Montana State in 2015. He helped the Bobcats rank first in the NCAA FCS in yards per play, touchdowns per game and red-zone touchdown percentage. He worked under Montana State head coach Rob Ash and Offensive Coordinator Tim Cramsey and was responsible for opposition film breakdown, game day charting assignments and compiling weekly scouting reports. He worked closely with the offensive coaches during game planning, game evaluation, and personnel evaluation meetings.

A 2012 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Deceker was an outstanding quarterback for the Wildcats where he was the Colonial Athletic Association’s Player of the Year and a finalist for the Walter Payton Award in 2011. He threw for 3,272 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior, while rushing for 429 yards and nine touchdowns. A team captain, he was also the squad’s Most Valuable Player and served on the Team Council Committee at UNH.
