Justin Mullgrav was named an assistant football coach at Fordham in March of 2026. He will be responsible for the Ram linebackers this fall.
Mullgrav comes to Fordham after spending the 2025 season at Weber State where he coached the Wildcat linebackers, including Mayson Hitchens, an All-Big Sky honoree.
Prior to Weber State, Mullgrav spent two seasons as a defensive analyst at the University of Utah, where he was also previously a graduate assistant coach. He also spent time as an assistant coach at Eastern Washington.
At Utah Mullgrav worked with former Weber State player and coach Colton Swan. It was his second stint at Utah as Mullgrav was a graduate assistant coach at Utah in 2019 and 2020.
Mullgrav spent two seasons (2021 and 2022) as an assistant coach leading the linebackers at Eastern Washington in the Big Sky Conference. During his time with the Eagles, Mullgrav coached multiple players to All-Big Sky honors.
Before his time at Utah, Mullgrav coached linebackers at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas for in 2018. He was also a linebackers coach at ASA College in Miami.
In 2016, Mullgrav spent time in the NFL with the player personnel department of the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he served as a scouting intern, assisting scouting staff in generating scouting reports for college and players.
A native of Old Bridge, New Jersey, Mullgrav was a standout linebacker at South Carolina State from 2012-14. He helped lead the Bulldogs to two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference titles and two trips to the FCS Playoffs. He graduated from South Carolina State in 2015 with a degree in Criminal Justice, and earned a master’s degree from the University of Miami in 20216.
