Chris Riverso, former Director of Football Operations and Recruiting Coordinator at Grambling State University, was named Director of Football Operations at Fordham University in April of 2022.
 
Riverso arrived at Rose Hill after spending the 2021 season as the Director of Football Operations and Recruiting Coordinator at Grambling State. He served as Head Coach Broderick Fobbs' Chief of Staff, overseeing all football and recruiting operations, including the management of on-campus recruiting, scouting, recruiting visits, the recruiting big board, and housing/academic affairs. Riverso also served as Liaison for NFL personnel, football alumni, strength and conditioning, facilities, sport information, compliance, and admissions. He also acted as team travel coordinator, managed fundraising and community activities, organized summer football camps, scheduled practice times for all workouts, and assisted in game scheduling.
 
Prior to his stay at Grambling State, Riverso was a Football Recruiting Analyst for 247Sports in Syracuse, N.Y. in 2020-2021. He was responsible for in-depth analysis of Syracuse Football's recruiting efforts and provided professional evaluations of both current and prospective football athletes.
 
In 2019-2020, Riverso was an Assistant Director of Football Operations at Syracuse University. He managed logistics for hotel and flight bookings, police escorts, post-game meals, and team activities and organized athlete housing, team scheduling, program budgeting, equipment purchasing, and team meals.
 
Riverso also has coaching experience, serving as the defensive line coach at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami in 2018-2019. He helped the Explorers to a 14-1 record and a berth in the Florida Class 8A State Championship game. He also served as defensive line coach and football operations intern at Florida International University in 2017.
 
A 2019 graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in sports administration, Riverso is currently working on a master’s degree in sports management at the University of Florida.
