Austin White begins his first season at Fordham in 2021, serving as the volunteer offensive quality control coach.
White is responsible for day-to-day operations including film breakdown and game day breakdown, coaching scout team and preparing scout team cards, recruiting in designated areas and assisting other staff with recruiting while also assisting with the coaching of the wide receivers. He will also be responsible for assisting with special teams and managing scout special team units.
White arrived at Rose Hill after serving as an assistant coach at Stevens College of Technology where he coached the quarterbacks, H-backs, and tight ends while also assisting with other positions. He helped develop and implement a new offensive playbook under the offensive coordinator before leaving the role due to COVID-19 canceling any practices/competitions.
Prior to Stevens, White was an assistant coach at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania where he was responsible for the wide receivers. He taught and developed the wide receivers and assisted with quarterbacks while also being responsible for all play signaling duties and day-to-day tasks such as film upload and breakdown, and recruitment.
White received a bachelor’s degree in Biology (Pre-Med track) from Bloomsburg in 2019.
