Adam Carter joined the Fordham football staff in August of 2022 when he was named a volunteer offensive quality control coach.
 
Carter’s responsibilities for the Rams include compiling a full breakdown of the opponent’s defense to aid in designing an offensive attack strategy, assisting the offensive coordinator with developing and executing the offensive game plan, and reading out defensive coverages, recording plays, and communicating offensive adjustments from the booth on game day.
 
Prior to arriving at Fordham Carter served as a recruiting assistant with the Syracuse University football program in the spring of 2022. He reviewed film of high school prospects and evaluated and rank them based on a skills assessment and assisted the Director of Player Personnel with official visits, recruitment strategies and player support.
 
From August 2021 until May 2022, Carter was a content creator and scout for The33rdTeam.com. He participated in weekly scouting Zoom calls, led by former NFL GM Mike Tannenbaum, and classes hosted by former NFL coaches and executives. He also wrote articles picked up by  USA Today that highlighted top FBS/FCS performers and worked directly with former NFL head coach Marc Trestman on his “Coordinators Corner” articles.
 
In the summer of 2021, Carter served as a training camp intern with the Houston Texans.
 
Carter is a 2022 graduate of Syracuse University’s David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics where he earned a degree in sports management.
