Abe Seldowitz was named Recruiting Quality Control Analyst at Fordham in September of 2022. He will be in charge of supporting the football staff in implementing overall recruiting strategy.
 
Parts of his duties include managing offensive and defensive recruiting boards through evaluating recruiting film and creating point of attack tapes, organizing and assisting with on-campus recruiting events as well as generating ideas for off-campus recruiting, and monitoring applicable social media of recruits as well as recruits’ high school game outcomes.
 
Seldowitz arrived at Fordham after serving as a Player Personnel Assistant in 2021-2022 with the Tulane University football program. He was responsible for watching full game film on high school recruits and college transfers and write thorough evaluations in Catapult-Scout (previously XOS) database, and discussing player evaluations with Director of Player Personnel, Wes Fritz, to help prioritize which players to focus on.
 
Seldowitz also served as an assistant for the 2022 East-West Shrine Bowl and was an NFL Draft Scout and Fantasy Football Analyst for the East West Football Network from 2020-2022.
 
A 2022 graduate of Tulane University with a degree in Management, Seldowitz served as a student equipment manager for the Green Wave for two years as well as being a member of the school newspaper.
