Lilly Bernardi is entering her first year as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Fordham University in 2021.
Bernardi is responsible for the design and implementation of all aspects of strength, conditioning, speed, agility and mobility for Baseball, Track & Field, Cross Country, Women’s Rowing, Men’s Squash and Men’s Golf.
Bernardi comes to Fordham from Hofstra University where she served as a Graduate Assistant in the Fall of 2020. As a GA she assisted with all 17 Varsity Teams while beginning to coach training sessions for Men’s Golf. In January 2021, Bernardi was brought on Hofstra’s Strength and Conditioning Staff as a Volunteer Assistant. As a Volunteer Assistant, Bernardi designed and implemented strength programs for Track & Field, Cross Country and collaborated on Men’s Golf.
Prior to her experience at Hofstra, Bernardi interned with the Strength & Conditioning staff at The Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Exercise Science at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in May 2020.
At TCNJ, Bernardi was a defender on the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse Team. During her 4 years on the TCNJ Women’s Lacrosse Team, Bernardi aided the team to 3 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships, an undefeated NJAC record, 3 Sweet Sixteen Appearances, 2 Final Four Tournaments and 1 National Championship Appearance. Bernardi’s senior season ended in 2020 due to COVID-19.
Her professional Certifications include a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) and CPR/AED. She is due to complete her Master’s Degree in Sports Science from Hofstra University in December 2021.
