Biography

1997:  Appeared in 18 games last spring, starting one….Had a 1-1 record with a 6.37 ERA…Struck out 21 batters in 35.1 innings...Picked up win against Wagner (4/16), scattering six hits over four innings while striking out four…Tough to steal on as only three of nine would be basestealers were successful with Plutzer on the mound.

1996:  Appeared in 14 games as a sophomore, starting one…Finished the year with a 2-0 record with one save and a 6.31 ERA…Struck out 20 in 35.2 innings…Earned a save in a 9-8 victory over Wagner, striking out three batters...Pitched three innings to earn the win against St. Joseph's...Threw 2.1 hitless innings against UMass...Pitched seven innings in a winning start against Wagner, allowing only one earned run and striking out three...Hurled three hitless and scoreless innings against St. Bonaventure.

1995:  Appeared in eight games as a freshman, picking up one save…Compiled a 3.70 ERA, allowing 10 earned runs in 24.1 innings.

Before Fordham:  A graduate of Port Richmond High School here he lettered in baseball…Named Team MVP…Member of the National Honor Society...Named to "Who's Who Among American High School Students."
