He had a 4.23 ERA, the second-lowest of his career, in 83.0 innings pitched, holding opponents to a .255 batting average... Opened the year by holding VCU to just one run over three hits in 5.1 innings with eight strikeouts in a win at VCU (2/19)... Tossed six no-hit innings with six strikeouts in a win over Iona (2/26)... Struck out eight against Radford (3/5)... 2010: Named Second Team All-Atlantic 10... Made 15 starts as the Rams' top pitcher, posting a 7-4 record with three complete games and a 4.10 ERA... Threw a career-high 98.2 innings, which ranks fourth all-time at Fordham, allowing 45 earned runs and striking out 69... Held opponents to a .254 batting average... Was even better in Atlantic 10 play with a 7-0 record with three complete games... Allowed two earned runs on six hits in six innings at Duke (2/26)... Struck out six and gave up one earned run in 5.1 innings against New York Tech (3/6)... Pitched his first career complete game at Richmond, a three-hitter with eight strikeouts (3/27), earning Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week honors... Set a career-high with 11 strikeouts in a complete game win over St. Bonaventure (4/10)... Pitched an amazing 10-inning complete game win at Dayton, allowing two earned runs with five strikeouts (4/24)... Gave up one run on three hits in 6.2 innings in a win versus La Salle (5/1)... 2009: Started off the year as one of the Rams' top starters, but was sidelined with an injury midway through the season...Made nine appearances with seven starts...Held a 0-5 record with a save and a 5.60 ERA...Struck out 29 batters in 35.1 innings...Picked up his first collegiate save by striking out two in one inning of perfect relief work at Duquesne (4/12)...Threw a scoreless inning with no hits versus Columbia (4/15)...Gave up one hit while striking out one in an inning of work against Temple (5/16).
2008: Used primarily as a weekday starter as a freshman... Appeared in eight games, making seven starts... Posted a 2-1 record eight strikeouts in 24.0 innings of work... Made his first start against Manhattan, allowing one run in three innings of work (3/5)... Picked up his first win against New York Tech, pitching five innings of no-hit ball, allowing four walks with two strikeouts (3/18)... Picked up another win against Stony Brook, pitching 5.2 innings, giving up four runs on five hits (3/26).
Before Fordham: Member of the varsity baseball and basketball teams at Staples High School... Served as team captain of both teams... All-Area selection for baseball in 2006... 2006 Sr. Legion All-Star... Named Honorable Mention All-FCIAC as a junior in both baseball and basketball.
