Before Fordham: Varsity baseball player at Fordham Prep... Started at third base and pitched on the 2009 CHSAA Championship team as a junior... Threw seven complete games in 2010 while posting a CHSAA league-leading 1.11 ERA... Named First Team All-CHSAA, All-Archdiocese and All-New York City... Played in the 2010 CHSAA vs. PSAL All-Star Game at second base and pitcher... Named team MVP for the pitching staff in 2010... Received the 2010 St. Francis Xavier Award for Extraordinary Athletic Achievement... Member of the honor roll... Received Academic Excellence accolades for Forensics and Honors English.
