Biography

Joe Calabrese2013: Utility infielder appeared in 16 games as a sophomore, starting five contests... Had just one hit on the season, which came on an RBI-single in the second game of a doubleheader against Columbia (4/24)... Scored two runs, one of which came against Saint Peter's (2/26) and the other in the first game against Columbia.

2012: Split time between second and third base as a freshman... Appeared in 30 games, starting 14... Collected seven hits, two runs, two RBI, and three stolen bases... Registered his first career multi-hit game at Seton Hall, going 2-for-3... Had a hit, an RBI, and a stolen base in games against Temple (4/7) and Manhattan (4/11)... Was 1-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base at St. Bonaventure (4/1).

Before Fordham: Varsity baseball and football player at Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn, New York... Team captain of the baseball team... Helped his squad to the 2011 State Championship... Received the Mark Hindy MVP Award... All-Ivy League selection... Played summer ball for Baseball U., which took fifth place at nationals in East Cobb, Georgia.
