Biography

2002: One of five players to start all 50 games… Tied for third on the team in RBI (26) and stolen bases (11)… Hit. 213 on the year with five doubles, a triple, and a home run… Had seven multi-hit and six multi-RBI games… Went 3-for-5 with two RBI and three stolen bases against CW Post (3/21)… Went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI at Siena (4/10)… Scored three runs in the Rams come from behind win over Hofstra (4/17)… Went 2-for-6 with two runs, an RBI, and a stolen base in a win over Wofford (2/24)… Also had multi-hit games against the Univ. of the Pacific (3/8), Saint Joseph’s (4/13), Columbia (4/24), and St. Bonaventure (5/5).
 
2001: Appeared in 30 games, starting 26 of them in the outfield… Hit .202 with 18 hits in 89 at bats… Finished with five doubles, 12 RBI, and seven stolen bases… Also scored 14 runs… Had four multi-hit games, including one three-hit game… Had three multi-RBI games… Went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in win at LIU (4/2)… Went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI against Massachusetts (4/20)… Finished 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI at Pace (4/26)… Went 2-for-5 with an RBI in the season opening loss to Embry-Riddle (3/9).
 
2000: Appeared in 47 games as a freshman, starting all 47 in the outfield…Started 31 games in right, nine games in center and nine game in left…  Earned Collegiate Baseball/Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Honorable Mention honors… Hit .319 with nine doubles, two triples, three home runs and 31 RBI…Stole a team-high 16 bases (in 21 attempts) and scored 33 runs (third best on team)…Hit .343 in Atlantic 10 games with three doubles, one triple and 12 RBI…Named Atlantic 10 Baseball Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 30th as he hit .545 (12-22) with two doubles, a triple, four RBI and five runs scored in six games for the Rams…Capped the week off by going 8-11 with a triple and three RBI in a three-game series at Temple as the Rams took two of the three Atlantic 10 games. He banged out three hits in two of the three games, going 3-for-4 in Fordham’s 8-4 win in Saturday’s first game and 3-for-4 in the Rams’ 11-10 come-from-behind victory on Sunday…Had a team-high 17 multiple-hit games, including four three-hit games…Also had eight multiple-RBI games, including three three-RBI and one five-RBI games…Hit .313 with runners in scoring position…Reached base 44.7% (17-38) of the time when leading off an inning…Went 2-5 with a double a home run and a season-high five RBI in the loss to Northern Illinois (3/18)…Was 3-4 with three runs and three RBI in the loss to Northern Iowa (3/13)…Finished 3-4 with three RBI in the Temple win (4/29)…Also went 3-4 with three runs in the final game of the Temple series (4/30)…Had a home run and three RBI in the C.W. Post win (3/23).
 
Before Fordham: A graduate of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio where he lettered in baseball and football…Earned three letters in each sport…All-Northeast Ohio pick as well as All-Catholic League…Team MVP and team captain…Hit .330 (25-76) with 17 runs and seven stolen bases…Named Second Team All-Ohio as a wide receiver in football…Also named Offensive MVP…St. Ignatius High School Athlete of the Year in 1999…Played high school baseball for Steve Cooke…Member of the National Honor Society.
