Biography

2003: Named to the Verizon Academic All-District I Team… Appeared in 33 games, starting 30… Finished the season, hitting .337 with 15 doubles, two triples, three home runs, and 21 RBI… Finished tied for fourth in double in the Atlantic 10, while also being fourth in slugging percentage at .606… Had nine multi-hit games, while having seven multi-RBI games… Had a six-game hit streak during the year, where he hit .667 in that stretch (14-21) with 12 RBI…  Had a career day against Wagner, going 5-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, three RBI and three runs scored (4/16)… Followed that performance with a 3-for-4 game against Saint Joseph’s with a double and tied a career-high with four RBI (4/18)… Had another good day against the Hawks the following day with a three-RBI game (4/19)… Went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, and two RBI against Long Island (3/15)… Went 2-for-4 with a triple, two runs, and two RBI against New York Tech (4/15)… Also had two hits and two RBI versus Columbia (4/23)… Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for 2002-03.
 
2002: Appeared in 10 games, starting five… Finished the year with a .182 batting average, two doubles, and five RBI… Had one multi-hit and one multi-RBI game… Went 2-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and a career-high four RBI in a win over South Alabama (3/3)… Went 1-for-3 with an RBI-single against Fresno State (3/14)… Named to Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for 2001-02.
 
2001: Appeared in 14 games, three as a pitcher…At the plate, hit .192 with five hits and four RBI…Went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI in win over Duquesne (5/12)…On the mound, had three appearances, including two starts…Pitched 4.2 innings against Columbia allowing four hits and two runs.
 
Before Fordham: A graduate of Port Chester High School in Port Chester, NY, where he lettered for three years in baseball…An All-League and All-Section pick…Also named League Most Valuable Player…Served as a team captain and was named team Most Valuable Player…Played high school baseball for Mike Frengs…Also a two-year letterman with the football squad at Port Chester…Listed in Who’s Who Among High School Students.
