2008: Made 13 appearances as a junior, starting eight games... Finished the year with a 3-2 record to go with a 5.15 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 43.2 innings... Opened the year giving up two runs in five innings at UNC-Wilmington (3/2)... Allowed one run on one hit in five innings against Fairleigh Dickinson (3/9)... Recorded his first win against Sacred Heart, giving up one unearned run with a career-high 10 strikeouts (3/15)... Got the win against St. Bonaventure, throwing 6.1 innings and striking out five batters (3/22)... Struck out five batters in four innings of work at Saint Joseph's (4/5)... Pitched two scoreless innings of relief against Iona (4/22)... Got the win in relief at Temple, allowing two runs in four innings of work (4/27).

2007: Used only as a pitcher as a sophomore... Appeared in 10 games, making five starts... Went 1-2 with a 5.02 ERA and 19 strikeouts in 28.2 innings... Recorded his first career win against N.Y. Tech, allowing two runs on two hits in six innings with four strikeouts (3/21)... Did not allow a run in 4.2 innings against Stony Brook (3/28)... Threw four innings of relief in the Rams' second game against Stony Brook, allowing one run on two hits (4/18)... Struck out three in three innings of work against Fairleigh Dickinson (5/15).

2006: Saw playing time at first base, designated hitter, and pitcher as a freshman... Hit .146 at the plate with two RBI to his credit... Went 2-for-4 with a run scored against Hofstra (3/7)... Was 2-for-4 with an RBI at Fairfield (4/12)... Made three appearances on the mound with his best outing against Iona, throwing a scoreless inning of relief (4/25).

Before Fordham: Four-year varsity baseball player at the Beacon High School... Four-time team MVP and a three-year captain... Was a Second Team All-City selection by Newsday in 2005... Hit .455 (20-44) with seven stolen bases as a junior, while on the mound he registered a record of 4-3 with a 2.00 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 42 innings pitched... Played previously at the Dwight School, where he was a Second Team All-Manhattan pick by The Daily News in 2002 and the regular season MVP of the PSAA in 2003.
