Biography

2003: Sat out the entire season due to injury.
 
2002: Appeared in 15 games, starting 13… Led the team in innings pitched with 78.1… Tied for the team lead in wins (4) and games started… Second on the team with 37 strikeouts and three complete games… Ended the season with a 4-8 record and an ERA of 7.35… Picked up first win of the year with a complete game against Dayton with two strikeouts (3/23)… Pitched a career-high eight innings with four strikeouts in a 3-2 loss to Rhode Island (4/20)… Went 5.1 innings, allowing three runs with two strikeouts in a win over Temple (4/27)… Struck out five batters in six innings of work at Saint Joseph’s, allowing just two earned runs (4/13).
 
2001: Appeared in 11 games, starting five…Had a 2-3 record with one save… Finished with 5.77 ERA and 25 strikeouts…Allowed 44 hits and 25 earned runs in 39.0 innings…Pitched seven innings, allowing five hits and striking out four in a 13-8 win over LIU (4/2)… Got the win versus Wagner (4/11) after allowing only three hits and one run in five innings of work… Went four innings, allowing one earned run and striking out four to get the victory against St. Francis (3/29)… Picked up his lone save of the year at Rhode Island, pitching three scoreless innings and striking out two batters (4/22)… Struck out four batters in 3.2 innings versus Iowa, allowing one earned run (3/11).
 
2000: Appeared in 12 games as a freshman, starting one…Finished with a 1-2 record, along with one save, and a 5.70 ERA…  Had the second best ERA among freshmen pitchers …Struck out 25 batters in 30 innings while allowing only 12 walks…Did not allow a run while striking out four in 2.2 innings of work in Atlantic 10 play…Had a 2.1 SO/BB ratio, second best on the team…Struck out five in 2.2 innings of work in the James Madison loss (2/13) in his first collegiate appearance…Picked up his first collegiate win throwing 6.1 innings of two-hit, no-run ball, striking out three in the St. Francis win (4/6)…Earned a save by closing the Temple game (4/30), striking out three in 1.2 innings…Struck out four batters in 4.1 innings in his second outing vs. Northern Iowa (3/13).
 
Before Fordham: A graduate of Emerson High School in Emerson, New Jersey, where he lettered in baseball and basketball…Earned three letters in each sport…Team captain of both sports as a senior…First Team All-League in baseball as a junior and senior…First Team All-County as a junior and Third Team as a senior…Holds school records for wins in a season with ten and ERA (0.88)…Second Team All-League pick in basketball as a junior and senior…Team MVP for baseball and basketball as a junior and senior…Played high school baseball for Bob Carcich…Member of the National Honor Society.
