Biography

LeachVertical2009: Second Team All-Atlantic 10 selection at third base... Started all 54 games, becoming the Rams' all-time leader in games played (211)... Also became all-time leader in at bats (800), while being sixth in runs (167) and walks (118), fourth in hits (228), third in triples (13) and stolen bases (85)... Led the Rams in batting average (.332), runs (52), triples (6), stolen bases (29), and multi-hit games (24)... Tied a personal-best with an 11-game hitting streak during the season... Opened the season, going 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored at Florida Atlantic (2/20) and followed with a three-hit game in the series finale (2/22)... Was 3-for-5 with a triple, three runs scored, and two RBI at Wofford (3/13)... Combined for four hits and three stolen bases in the final two games of the Wofford series (3/15)... Went 3-for-5 with a triple and a run scored at Liberty (3/18)... Totaled five hits in the Charlotte series (3/20-22)... Was 4-for-5 with two RBI versus Iona (4/21)... 2008: Appeared in 53 games, starting 51... Saw time in centerfield and at third base... Stole a career-high 31 bases, helping Fordham lead the NCAA in that category... Tied for 26th in stolen bases in the nation and 56th in triples (5)... Hit. 293 with 40 runs scored, nine doubles and 14 RBI... Led the team with 215 at bats and was third in walks (25) and stolen bases... Second on the team with 18 multi-hit games... Had three hits and three runs scored versus Fairleigh Dickinson (3/8)... Had a career day, going 4-for-4 with four runs scored and two stolen bases at Virginia Tech (3/12)... Went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored at Saint Louis (3/28)... Had four hits and three runs scored in the Rams' series at Saint Joseph's (4/5-6)... Was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three stolen bases at NJIT (4/8)... Went a career-best 5-for-5 with a double, a triple, and two RBI at Columbia (4/16)... Recorded a career-best nine-game hitting streak in late April to early May (4/22-5/4)... Had career-highs with a .299 batting average, 42 runs, 53 hits, 11 doubles, two home runs, 16 RBI, and 17 stolen bases... Hit .305 in conference play (29-95)... Had 13 multi-hit games on the year... Was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the conference opener at George Washington (3/23)... Hit solo home runs in consecutive games against Duquesne (4/6-7)...Went 3-for-5 with three runs scored at Hofstra (4/17)... Picked up five hits, four runs, and three stolen bases in the Rams' series at Richmond (4/27-29)... Had eight multi-hit contests, while driving in more than one run in game five times... Had two hits and two runs on five separate occasions... Had his first three-hit game against Fairfield, going 3-for-5 with two RBI (3/5)... Went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored against Manhattan (3/8)... Drove in two runs in games against Wichita State (3/11) and Florida International (3/15), while adding his first career home run at FIU... Had a season-high three RBI at Bethune-Cookman (3/19)... Was 2-for-5 with two runs versus Columbia (4/19).

2005: Sat out the entire season due to injury.

Before Fordham: Played baseball for four seasons at Iona Prep... Served as team captain... Named to the All-City and All-Senior teams in 2004... Member of the Honor Roll... Listed among the Who's Who Among High School students.

Major: Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
