Recorded his first win of the year against Old Dominion, pitching five scoreless innings of relief, allowing only two hits with three strikeouts (3/13)... Picked up a relief win at St. Bonaventure, throwing 4.2 innings, allowing just one run with four strikeouts (4/17)... Got his third win of the year at Iona, throwing 3.1 innings of relief, allowing only one run (4/26)... 2003: Made 16 pitching appearances, starting four… Finished the season with a 4-2 record, three saves, and a 4.26 earned run average… Pitched 44.1 innings, allowing 25 runs and striking out 28… Had one complete game, which came in the second game of a doubleheader with Columbia, as he went seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits with four strikeouts (4/28)… Went seven innings in a loss to Temple, where he struck out a season-high six batters (5/4)… Got the win versus Fairfield, going five innings, allowing three runs (4/2)… Pitched the final three innings against Wagner to record a save… Pitched the final two outs against New York Tech (4/15) and St. Bonaventure (5/9) to record a save in each contest… Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in 2002-03.
