1999: Drafted in the ninth round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Colorado Rockies... 280^th player chosen overall... Capped his junior year by being named First Team All-Atlantic 10 as a designated hitter... Led the Rams in hitting with a .374 average along with 17 doubles, six home runs and 35 RBI... Led the team in hits, doubles, home runs, RBI, and slugging percentage (.570)... Ranked ninth in the Atlantic 10 in hitting with his .374 average and is seventh in the A-10 in doubles (0.34/game)... Recorded 15 multiple-hit games and seven multiple-RBI games... Hit safely in 18 of the last 23 games of the season, hitting .437 (38-87) over that time to raise his batting average from .333 to .374... Was also the Rams’ top hurler, notching a 6-4 record with a 3.44 ERA... Struck out a team-high 87 batters in 68 innings... Led Fordham in wins, ERA, complete games (6), and strikeouts... Led the Atlantic 10 and ranked 17^th in the country in strikeouts/nine innings (11.51) while his 3.44 ERA was the fourth best in the conference... Closed out his season on the mound by throwing a complete game four-hitter, striking out a career-high 12 hitters, to lead Fordham to a 3-2 win over St. Bonaventure (5/15).

1998:  Appeared in 44 games last year, starting all 44…Started 18 games in center field, 11 in right field, ten as the designated hitter and five on the mound…Went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBI  in Fordham’s 15-5 win over Howard in the first game of the NCAA play-in series...Hit .299 (46-154) with eleven doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 32 RBI…Had 12 multiple-hit games, including six three-hit games…Had nine multiple-RBI games, including three four-RBI games…Hit .322 (19-59) with four doubles, three triples, three home runs and 19 RBI in A-10 games…Went three-for-three with a home run and four RBI in the win over Rhode Island (5/2) which clinched second place in the East Division…Went three-for-four with a home run and four RBI in win at Wagner (4/15)…Had three hits and four RBI in 9-8 win at Virginia Tech (3/29)…On the mound, compiled a 5-1 record with a team-leading 2.70 ERA…Picked up the win in the Rams' 14-5 win over George Washington in the A-10 semifinals, throwing six innings of six-hit ball, allowing three runs while striking out seven...Struck out 35 hitters in 40.0 innings of work…Lone loss was to Southern Cal in the NCAA East Regionals…Opponents hit .255 against him…Was 2-0 with a 1.23 ERA in Atlantic games…Named A-10 Pitcher of the Week once…Picked up wins in his last three outings, defeating Rhode Island, 2-1, with a complete-game, six-hitter, striking out two…Also picked up win against Temple, throwing a complete-game three-hitter, striking out seven in a 4-1 win…Also defeated New York Tech on 4/21, throwing six innings of eight-hit ball, striking out five…Picked up first collegiate win against C.W. Post (4/13), throwing seven innings of five-hit relief, striking out a season-high nine batters.

Before Fordham:  A graduate of Pentucket Regional High School in West Newbury, MA where he lettered in baseball and football…Named 1994 Massachusetts Division III Player of the Year…Led high school team to State Championships in 1994…Only Massachusetts player to pitch and win four consecutive state tournament games, including the state championship game…Also named AAU All-American in 1994…Boston Herald and Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team selection…1994 Team and League Most Valuable Player…Named MVP and Player of the Year of the Cape Ann League…Also named an Eastern Massachusetts All-Star…Attended Milford Academy for one year after graduating from Pentucket Regional.
