2018: Missed a portion of the season due to injury... Still managed to set personal-bests in ERA (3.03), appearances (18), innings pitched (35.2), and strikeouts (40)... Finished 2-2 with a save and a .205 opponent batting average... Opened his campaign with 11.1 scoreless innings of relief... Struck out three over four innings at USC Upstate (2/18)... Also had three strikeouts in four innings at USF (2/24)... Lone start was against Wagner, where he went a career-long five innings with five strikeouts in a no-decision (3/14)... Picked up his first career save at Davidson with three strikeouts over two innings of relief (3/24)... Had a career-high six strikeouts against Manhattan over four innings of relief (3/31)... 2017: Made 13 appearances as a freshman, making four mid-week starts... Was 1-3 with a 4.56 ERA in 25.2 innings with 18 strikeouts... Held opponents to a .200 batting average... Threw two innings of scoreless relief with two strikeouts against Canisius (3/3)... Pitched a season-long 3.2 innings against Manhattan, allowing three runs with three strikeouts (3/8)... Tossed two scoreless innings of relief against Sacred Heart (3/19)... Did not allow an earned run in three innings of work versus Albany (3/29)... Recorded his first collegiate win after two scoreless innings against Saint Peter's with two strikeouts (4/5)... Struck out three batters in two shutout innings at Siena (4/11)... Before Fordham: Four-year member of the varsity baseball and volleyball teams at Bay Shore High School... Three-year starter on the diamond... Named to the Class AA All-State Third Team... 2016 Suffolk County League II MVP after a strong senior campaign... Went 6-0 with a save and a 0.62 ERA in 56.1 innings pitched with 84 strikeouts... Batted .403 with four home runs, eight doubles, 28 runs scored, and 28 RBI as well and earned a Suffolk County Gold Glove Award for his work at shortstop... Received the Dellacave Award as Bay Shore's best male athlete... First Team All-Long Island selection for baseball by Newsday and MSG Varsity... Two-time team MVP and All-League selection... Posted a 2.02 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 52 innings pitched as a junior... Listed among the 2016 Top Prospects List by both Blue Chip Prospects and Baseball Player Magazine, while being on Newsday's Top 25 Long Island baseball players list...
