Earned his second save in Fordham's upset win over #11 Miami (Fla.) (3/16)... Registered the win against Saint Louis, pitching two scoreless innings (4/17).

2009: Became a mid-week starter in his second season at Fordham... Made 12 appearances with eight starts... Recorded an 0-3 record with a 7.22 ERA in 38.2 innings pitched with 16 strikeouts on the year... Gave up two runs, one earned, on one hit in 4.2 innings of relief work versus Saint Joseph's (4/5)... Struck out three batters in two innings of work while only giving up one run at Duquesne (4/11)... Threw five scoreless innings of four-hit ball while striking out five in a start against Columbia (4/15)... 2008: Made six appearances in his first season at Fordham, including three starts... Went 0-1 with a 9.17 ERA in 17.2 innings of work... Posted ten strikeouts... Took the loss in his first start at UNC-Wilmington, allowing four earned runs in two innings (3/1)... Had his best outing in a start at Rutgers, throwing five shutout innings, giving up just four hits with four strikeouts (4/15)... Gave up one earned run in 2.1 innings of relief against Xavier (5/11).

Before Fordham: Transfer from Wallace State. High School: Multi-sport athlete at Cold Spring Harbor High School... Played varsity soccer, hockey and baseball... Served as team captain of the baseball team... Two-time All-Conference selection in 2005 and 2006... Opened his senior year with three consecutive no-hitters (20 hitless innings)... Drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 40th round out of high school... Played summer ball for the Long Island Tigers.
