Biography

2003: Returned to the Rams pitching staff for the first time since April 2001… Saw limited action, pitching in three contests… Pitched 1.1 innings against Fairfield allowing one hit (4/2)… Threw one inning, striking out two batters against UNC-Wilmington (2/21).
 
2002: Sat out the entire season due to injury.
 
2001: Appeared in six games, starting four before going out of action with an elbow injury… Had a 1-1 record with an 8.04 ERA, pitching 15.2 innings… Allowed 27 hits, 20 runs, and struck out 10 batters… Picked up his lone win of the season at CW Post, after pitching three hitless innings, striking out three (3/28)… Pitched two scoreless innings, striking out three in a win over Wagner (4/11)… Longest outing was a loss at Columbia, going 3.1 innings, allowing four earned runs and striking out two batters.
 
2000: Collegiate Baseball/Lousville Slugger Freshman All-American Honorable Mention... Appeared in a team-high 19 games, making two starts…Finished the year with a 4-0 record with one save and a 5.50 ERA…Led the freshmen in appearances and wins…Struck out 33 in 37.2 innings of work …Named Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week on March 27th, picking up a pair of wins on the week without allowing an earned run…Was 1-0 with a 5.25 ERA in Atlantic 10 play with ten strikeouts in 12 innings…Picked up first collegiate victory in a 2-1 win over St. Francis (3/22), allowing no earned runs and one hit while striking out two in three innings…Also picked up a win in the 6-5 win over New York Tech (3/26), allowing no runs and three hits while striking out a season-high five in 4.1 innings…Also picked up an A-10 win by throwing 2.1 innings of two-hit ball, striking out two, in the Temple win (4/30)…Earned a save by throwing 1.2 innings of three-hit, one-run ball in the Temple win (4/29)…Fanned four in two innings in the Manhattan win (5/3)…Also struck out four in four innings against Duquesne (4/1).
 
Before Fordham: A graduate of the Hopkins School in New Haven, Connecticut where he lettered in baseball and basketball…A four-year letter winner with the baseball team and three-time letterman with basketball…All-State selection as a senior…Named Hopkins Most Outstanding Athlete for 1999…Posted a 6-1 record as a junior with a 1.80 ERA…Struck out 46 hitters in 30.3 innings and was an All-League selection for the third straight year…A team captain for the 1999 baseball season and 1998-99 basketball season.
