When are we going to return to the Patriot League for men's basketball? I know it is a complex issue but enough is enough. We have to get back in the tournament. Thank you.

Given the proliferation of transfers, redshirts and graduate players in men's basketball, one issue needs clarification. Is Fordham's four-year scholarship guaranty for four "academic" years or four "athletic" years ?

I was wondering if there are plans to improve the Facilities page on our athletics website. There have been great improvements to our facilities, but the images on the facilities page do not do them justice.

Congrats on a very good first half of the year. As to men's basketball, there are so many injuries and players out and it seems we never even know who is suiting up until the game broadcast starts. Anyway we can get better pre-game notes and clarification on players who are out or red shirted?

Why not reduce some men’s other athletic scholarships and add 10 Men’s Crew Athletic Scholarships. This is a major Fordham and all top quality schools such as Georgetown
have Varsity Men’s and Women’s Crews. It is time to recognize the size, success and co-ed nature of our sport. The current situation holds back the amount I donate to Fordham.

The senior quarterback was out the final game. Some allege a suspension, others an injury. Can you clarify? Especially important since he is featured, the same day, in the donations campaign video.

Thank you for your question.  We had many injuries this season and our senior quarterbacks were among those injured.

Fordham finally has a really nice logo, but other than the Fordham bookstore (which is much improved) and the university/athletics website, how come it is so hard to find Fordham merchandise? Can Fordham improve its licensing agreements to improve regional distribution into department stores (like Kohls, Walmart etc.) and specialty sports stores (like Dick's Sporting Goods, Lids, Modell's, etc.). I ask as I see several others programs at a comparable level with far better exposure than Fordham and I have always wondered, why not Fordham?

Also, why not use the A-10 logo on head wear and apparel? We are associated with a strong and reputable conference so why not flaunt it? Its a win-win for us and the conference yet there is never/seldom any cross promotion, why not?

Thank you for your question regarding Fordham merchandising and licensing. Over the last few years, we have improved what apparel is available in the bookstore and online (http://fordham-rosehill.shoptruespirit.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/BNCBHomePage?storeId=88816&catalogId=10003&langId=-1). As a University our licensing officer is certainly willing to let any provider sell Fordham gear once they pay the licensing fee.  Go Rams!

Can you explain the rationale for Fordham banning its alums from tailgating at homecoming? A search indicates that we are the only school who does this at this level of football. Fo

Thank you for your email concerning tailgating at homecoming.  The decision to eliminate tailgating and have all alums in the homecoming tent was made before I arrived at Fordham.  I do not want to speculate as to the reason for this change.   I hope to see you at the Bucknell game.

Do alumni get discounted tickets?

Thank you for your question and interest in Fordham athletics.  We currently provide discounts on tickets for seniors, children under 12 and groups.  We do not give discounts to Alumni.
