Before Fordham: Started rowing in eighth grade with Fairport Crew Club... Continued on varsity all four years of high school, making the top boat her freshman year... Helped Fairport win numerous gold medals at the John Bennett regatta, Syracuse Chargers Invitational Regatta, Pittsford Regatta, Lift Bridge Regatta, and Head of the Genesee... Stroked the top V8+ her sophomore year at the New York State Scholastic Rowing Championships (semifinals), Syracuse Chargers Invitational (silver) as well as the Pittsford Regatta (gold) and rowed in the top V4+ junior year... Broke her 2K personal record from sophomore year as a senior and rowed again in the top V8+ helping lead Fairport Crew to finals at every regatta... Recipient of the Faith through Sports Award in 2013... An NYSSRA Scholar Athlete (fall and spring 2012-2015)... Member of the National Honor Society... Recipient of the President's Award for Educational Excellence (12) and the Syracuse University Project Advance Recognition Award (12).
