• A graduate of Delaware Hayes High School in Delaware, Ohio, where he lettered in football for head coach Mike Golden.
• Did a postgrad year at Salisbury School where he played for head coach Chris Phelps.
• Led Salisbury to an 8-1 overall record in 2015, 6-0 in the conference.
• Recorded eleven receptions for 143 yards and one touchdown and made 42 tackles, including three for loss, and intercepted a pass on defense.
