Biography

2016-17: Played in all 34 games, starting 27, as a senior captain… Attained her Master’s degree in Media Management after completing her undergraduate degree in three years… Averaged 8.8 points on 33.5% shooting from the field across 29.0 minutes per game… Finished second on the team with 4.1 rebounds per game, 62 assists, and 27 steals… Second in the squad during conference play with 9.3 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game, plus a team-high 34 assists and 16 steals… Scored 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting with two threes, plus four rebounds, five assists and two blocks in the season-opening win over Furman in the opening round of the preseason WNIT (11/11)… Posted eight points and four rebounds at #1 Notre Dame in round two (11/14)… Hit several clutch shots, including two threes in the final minute of regulation, one being the game-tying shot at the buzzer, to propel the Rams to a come-from-behind win in double overtime against Albany, finishing with a team-high 19 points on 8-of-22 shots, a career-high for attempts, four rebounds, and two assists across 42 minutes (11/22)… After combining for three points over her next two games, rebounded for a season-high 22 on 8-of-12 shooting from the field, including a career-best four triples, to go with seven rebounds and two assists in a conference-opening win against Duquesne (12/1)… Kicked off a stretch of double-figure outputs that lasted seven games and nine of 10, with 13 points and seven rebounds in a loss to St. John’s (12/13)… Poured in 17 on 7-of-12 shooting in a comeback win over Manhattan four days later (12/17)… Posted 12 points and six boards in a win over UNC Asheville in the consolation game of the Fordham Holiday Classic (12/30)… Flirted with a triple double but posted the first double-double of her career with 18 points on 6-of-17 shooting to go with 10 rebounds, five coming on the offensive glass, and a personal-best seven assists across 37 minutes during a New Year’s Day win at Rhode Island (1/1)… Scored 10 in a win over Davidson (1/4)… Totaled eight points and eight rebounds, plus four dimes and two steals, in a win at George Mason (1/7)… Grabbed eight rebounds again to go with 12 points, four assists, and a pair of steals in a win over Richmond (1/11)… Poured in 16 points, matched her personal-high with four triples, and nine rebounds in 35 minutes in a win at St. Bonaventure (1/15)… Scored 12 against VCU (1/21)… Chipped in 11 points, including three treys, four rebounds, three assists, and a steal across 34 minutes at George Washington (2/1)… Swiped a season-high three steals to go with 12 points and four rebounds off the bench in a double overtime win at La Salle (2/22)… Scored 11 points in the A-10 Championship first round victory over Davidson (2/26)… Moved back into the starting lineup for her final two contests, both in the postseason WNIT, scoring two points with four rebounds and a steal in 35 minutes in a comeback win at Georgetown (3/17) and five points, three boards, and two dimes at Penn State (3/19)… Named to the A-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2015-16: Played in all 31 contests, starting all but one, as a junior, leading the team in assists with 76 and ranking third on the squad with 9.6 points scored and 4.5 rebounds in 32.6 minutes per game… Second on the team shooting 39.8% from the field and third with a 34.1% rate from beyond the arc… Recorded at least one assist in all but three games… Named A-10 Player of the Week once... 2014-15: Saw action in all 33 games, including 15 starts... Averaged 4.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game... Made her first career start vs. Hofstra (11/21) and scored five points in 23 minutes... Ripped down a career-high seven boards and netted six points at Temple (12/7)... Scored a then season-high nine points and grabbed four rebounds at Central Connecticut (12/9)... Tied career highs in assists and steals with two while scoring five points in her fifth career start at St. Bonaventure (1/11)... Knocked down a then season-high four field goals (on seven attempts) and netted eight points vs. Massachusetts (1/21)... Tied a career high with 11 points, tied a career high with five field goals (on six attempts) and played a career-high 30 minutes while grabbing four boards at Saint Louis (1/24)... Dished out a career-high four assists vs. St. Bonaventure (2/5)... Logged a career-high 32 minutes at Saint Joseph's (2/8)... Recorded first block of the season (third of career) and grabbed six boards at Rhode Island (2/15)... Scored a career-high 12 points, grabbed three boards and tied a career high in steals with two at #24/23 George Washington (2/21)... 2013-14: Made herself a presence in the Rams' rotation as a rookie, seeing the floor in all 33 games... Tallied 2.7 points and 2.2 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game... One of the most athletic players on the squad… Reached double-digit scoring figures in her first collegiate game with ten points against San Francisco (11/18)... Scored nine points against Hofstra (11/15)... Registered five points vs. Yale (11/22)... Had five points, three boards, and a pair of assists against Illinois State (12/15)... Pulled down six boards at Manhattan (12/21)... Had four points and four rebounds vs. Harvard (12/30).... Put up four points and three boards against Saint Louis (1/2)... Tied a season-high with 11 points against Richmond (1/11)... Scored five points at VCU (1/15)... Tallied five points and six rebounds vs. UMass (1/25)... Had five rebounds vs. Mason (2//26)... Personal: A graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas, Va… Missed her entire senior season due to injury, but the team went on to win both Regional and District crowns despite her absence… Named to the Cedar Run District First Team during her sophomore and junior campaigns… Anchored a squad that finished as the State Championship Runner-Up in 2011 and took home undefeated District Champion trophies in both seasons… AAU standout with Premier Sports Performance Academy, where her coach, Jason Harris, was one of the greatest players in Fordham men’s basketball history… Her father, Keith Burns, played and coached in the NFL for 19 years... Graduated in three years with a degree visual arts and urban studies.
