2014-15: Appeared in 12 games, starting two... Averaged 3.1 points and 1.2 rebounds... Added 15 assists and six steals... Had four points and three assists in the opener against Iona (11/14)... Netted a season-high eight points at Syracuse (11/16)... Had five points at Delaware (11/25)... Posted three points and five rebounds against Drake (11/30)... Netted six points at CCSU (12/9).

2013-14: Made the most of her time on the court as a freshman, averaging 2.5 points and 0.9 rebounds per game despite seeing the floor for just over five minutes per contest... Scored five points at #13 Penn State (11/10)... Nailed a three-pointer at Holy Cross (12/7)... Tallied four points and two boards against Illinois State (12/15)... Went 2-2 from deep against Manhattan (12/21)... Tallied three points and two boards against UNCG (12/29)... Scored two points and grabbed a rebound vs. URI (1/29)... Scored nine points on 4-6 shooting against St. Bonaventure (3/8).

Before Fordham: Native of Grosuplje, Slovenia, where she has been a mainstay on the Slovenian National Team for the past five years… Played two seasons on the Slovenian U-16 team, averaging 12.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game at the European Championships in 2010… Averaged nine points, 4.9 boards and 1.6 assists as a 17-year-old in 2011 on the U-18 squad and bumped those averages to 9.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game as a captain of the team in 2012…. Also earned a spot on the U-19 team that competed at the World Championships in 2011… A standout on her club team, Women’s Basketball Club Grosuplje… Competed with the squad every year at the Slovenian National Championships, having been named to the All-Tournament team in 2008 before taking home MVP honors in 2009 (U-14)… Won a U-16 National Championship in 2010, during which she was named the MVP of the tournament after scoring 38 points in two games… A two-time team captain in the U-18 division, Gjerkes took home All-Tournament Team honors in both 2011 and 2012…. This past season, Gjerkes averaged 19 points per game while playing for Women's Basketball Club Grosuplje.
