Closed out his career by earning All-Patriot League accolades for the second straight year in 2017… Showed his versatility by playing center, left guard and right guard… Earned All-Patriot League honors in 2016… Did a solid job at replacing All-Patriot League center Joe Mizera in 2015, starting all 12 games at the position… An All-District selection on the offensive line as a senior in high school.
2017 (Senior Season)
• Appeared in ten games on the offensive line for the Rams in 2017, starting all nine.
• Started seven games at left guard, one at right guard and one at center.
• Named Second Team All-Patriot League.
• Blocked for an offense that averaged 371.7 yards of total offense/game, third best in the Patriot League, including 238.9 passing yards/game, also third best in the league and 31st among all NCAA FCS teams.
2016 (Junior Season)
• Started all eleven games at center for the Rams.
• Earned Second Team All-Patriot League honors.
• Helped the Fordham offense lead the Patriot League and rank fourth in the NCAA FCS in total offense, averaging 498.2 yards/game, and lead the league and rank 12th in the NCAA FCS in rushing offense, averaging 229.7 yards/game.
• The Rams also led the Patriot League and were fourth in the nation in scoring, averaging 40.1 points per game.
• Helped Fordham set a single-season team rushing mark with 2,527 yards.
2015 (Sophomore Season)
• Started all 12 games at center as a sophomore.
• Helped the Fordham offense lead the Patriot League and rank ninth in the NCAA FCS in scoring, averaging 36.8 points per game.
• Rams also led the league and were second in the NCAA FCS in passing efficiency (168.30).
• The Fordham offense ranked second in the league and 20th in the NCAA FCS in passing yards/game (272.3), 21st in the NCAA FCS in first downs and third in the conference and 43rd in the NCAA FCS in rushing yards/game (180.9).
2014 (Freshman Season)
• Appeared in six games as a freshman on the offensive line.
• Helped the offense rush for a school-record 2,353 yards, shattering the former mark of 2,162 set in 2013, and scoring with 569 points, surpassing the 2013 record of 526.
• Team also set a school mark with 31 rushing touchdowns.
• Helped the Rams lead the Patriot League in passing offense, total offense and scoring offense while on the national level the Rams ranked fourth in passing offense (326.1 yards/game) in the NCAA FCS and ranked among the top ten in scoring offense (40.6 points/game – fifth), team passing efficiency (156.23 – third), total offense (494.1 yards/game – seventh) and first downs (331 - ninth).
Before Fordham
• A graduate of Del Rio High School in Del Rio, Texas, where he played football for head coach Frenchey McCrea.
• A four-year starter on the line.
• Named to 2013 Class 5A Region IV Pre-Season Elite Team and was a second team 2013 All-District 29-5A Team selection at offensive tackle at season’s end.
• Also named offensive lineman of the year and served as a team captain in 2013.
• As a junior, was an All-America defensive end and also earned first team All-District defensive lineman, first team All-District tight end and defensive lineman of the year accolades.
• As a sophomore, was named All-State at defensive tackle, defensive tackle of the year, defensive MVP and defensive line captain.
• As a freshman, received All-Conference honorable mention honors as well as being named defensive newcomer of the year.
• Traveled to France in March of 2014 and played with team USA against Team Europe (U19) with Football Worldwide.

• Son of Mary Jo and Daniel Hartman.
• Has one sister (Maria) and two brothers (Daniel and Christopher).
