Biography

Missed most of the 2013 season with an injury, appearing in just one game… also missed  the 2012 season with an injury… will look to see time in the Fordham offensive backfield as a fullback in 2014… rushed three times in the 2012 Spring Game… Croton-Harman Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2010… named to the 2013 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2013: Appeared in one game as a junior (Rhode Island).

2012: Missed season with an injury.

2011: Did not see varsity action.

Before Fordham: A graduate of Croton-Harmon High School in Croton, New York, where he lettered in football and baseball... played high school football for head coach John Catano... an All-Section pick in football... a two-time All-League selection... named CHHS Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year... a Golden Dozen Scholar Athlete... named team Offensive MVP... served as a team captain as a senior... helped team to 2008 Eastern NY state championship... member of the 2008 and 2010 Section 1 and Hudson Valley Regional championship team... a two-time All-League honoree in baseball... served as a team captain as a senior.

Personal: Son of Kathleen and Scott Soares... has three younger brothers (Brian, Billy and Jack)... majoring in Applied Accounting and Finance.
