Biography

Returned from a season-ending injury in 2012 to become a main backup on the offensive line in 2013… looks to move into one of the two openings on the line in 2014… opened the 2012 season as the starter at left tackle before suffering a season-ending injury in the Cornell game… had a strong showing in the 2012 spring practice season, being named Most Improved Offensive Player following the Spring Game… served as a backup at right guard as a freshman… did not see varsity action in 2010 but appeared with the junior varsity squad… All-State pick in high school… named to the 2011 and 2013 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2013: Appeared in ten games as a senior… helped the Rams lead the NCAA FCS in pass completion percentage (70.6%), rank third in passing offense (360.9 yards/game) and total first downs (364), and seventh in total offense (515.3 yards/game)… Rams’ offense finished the season with a 4,000-yard passer, three 1,000-yard receivers and a 1,000-yard rusher, believed to be the first time an NCAA team has accomplished the feat… led 2013 offense to school record-setting success, scoring 50 points or more five times, and accumulating 526 points for the season, breaking the school record of 418 set by the 2003 squad… Rams also set school single season records with 7,214 total yards of offense, shattering the former school mark of 5,377 set by the 2009 team, and 5,052 passing yards, bettering the former record of 3,708 set in 2009.

2012: Started the first three games of the year at left tackle before suffering a season-ending injury in the Cornell game… helped running back Carlton Koonce set the school single season rushing record with 1,596 yards… also helped the Fordham offense average 435.7 yards/game, second best in the Patriot League and 20th best in the NCAA FCS while the Rams scored 31.2 ppg, second in the league and 31st in the NCAA FCS… Fordham offense also had the second ranked passing offense in the Patriot League in 2012, averaging 279.6 yards/game, 18th best in the NCAA FCS.

2011: Appeared in six games at left guard as a sophomore in 2011… member of the offensive line that helped the Fordham passing offense rank 41st in the NCAA FCS, averaging 229.7 yards/game.

2010: Did not see varsity action... appeared with the junior varsity program.

Before Fordham: A graduate of Monroe Township High School in Monroe, New Jersey, where he lettered in football for head coach Chris Beagan... An All-State selection... also earned All-Area, All-Group 3, All-Conference and All-White Division honors... member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Barbara and Matthew Stolte… has two younger brothers (Ryan and Thomas)… an Economics major.
