Biography

2015: Appeared in 24 games in the circle, sporting a 1-0 record with a 3.83 ERA and two saves over 42.0 innings or work while fanning 27... Did not allow a run in 11 appearances... Earned only victory of the season after tossing 2.1 scoreless innings in a win at South Florida (2/14)... Threw 3.0 innings of shutout softball, whiffed three and yielded just one hit in a loss to Syracuse (4/1)... Struck out a season-high four in a win at Massachusetts (4/11)... Locked down the Rams' victory in the Atlantic 10 Championship opener against Saint Louis (5/7) by not allowing a hit or a run over the final 3.0 innings to earn her first save of the season... Came on in relief of a pressure-packed situation in an elimination game of the Harrisonburg Regional at #15 James Madison (5/16) and recorded the final two outs to collect her second save of the season, knock host JMU out of the NCAA Tournament, and help advance the Rams to their second-ever apperance in the regional final... Also went 1-for-6 at the plate with a RBI...

2014: Made 20 appearances on the year, coming into her role as a shutdown closer midway through the season… Tied the Fordham and Atlantic 10 record with six saves on the year, good enough for fourth in the nation individually… Tallied a 5-1 record and a 3.19 ERA… Picked up her first save of the year with 3.0 innings of shutout ball in the second game of a doubleheader at Virginia (3/20)… Shutdown Hofstra in the final three innings of play, holding the Pride without a hit and striking out four to record her second save (4/1)… Registered her first win of the year at Lehigh (4/9)… Threw two no-hit innings in the second game of a doubleheader at Rhode Island to grab the save (4/12)… Picked up two wins in one day, tossing 3.0 innings in each of Fordham’s wins over Binghamton (4/13)… Took the win in game one of a doubleheader against Saint Louis, throwing two perfect innings (4/17)… Hurled 3.0 innings of three-hit ball to pick up another win against Massachusetts (4/19)… Nabbed her fourth save of the year by striking out four and allowing only one hit in 3.0 innings of work at La Salle (4/26)… Earned the save in the win over Massachusetts to kick off the Atlantic 10 Championship (5/8)… Maintained a one-run lead in the top of the seventh to pick up her record-tying sixth save of the season against Saint Louis (5/9)… Made appearances in each of Fordham’s contests at the Tallahassee Regional against Florida State and South Carolina...

2013: Made 22 appearances, including seven starts, for the Rams in her freshman season... Threw two complete games on the year... Struck out 39 while surrendering only 20 walks... Made her first collegiate start and picked up her first collegiate win in the second game of a doubleheader against Rhode Island (4/7)... Tossed a career-high seven complete innings against Butler (4/14)... Fanned a career-high seven batters against Saint Joseph's in the Atlantic 10 Tournament (5/11)... Came out in the next game and picked up the save in the victory that propelled Fordham to the NCAA Tournament... Pitched a combined 9.2 innings in the Norman Regional, including one start against Arkansas (5/18)...

Before Fordham: Played three years of varsity softball for Laurie Wohnhas at Poolsville High School... Was also a member of the basketball and field hockey teams... Posted a 12-3 mark, with a 1.27 ERA as a junior in 2011 while helping the Falcons to the Regional Final... Named Team MVP and was a captain as a junior... Selected as an All-Met player by the Washington Post while leading the county in strikeouts (132) and RBI (37)... Chosen First Team All-Gazette as well in her junior season.. .Two-time All-County honoree by the Washington Post (2009 and 2010)... Led the county in RBI and runs as a freshman.. .Missed her senior season with an injury... Played club softball for the Maryland Heartbreakers 18U Gold where she was part of five tournament championships... Named an English Scholar of the Year in 2012... Took home the Minds in Motion award for varsity athletes all four years (2009-12)...
