Easton, Pa. – If Fordham University were to open a satellite campus in Pennsylvania, the Fordham men's soccer team will call that campus home. For the second time in the past three games, all played in the Keystone State, the Rams scored a pair of goals while keeping the opponent off the board. Today it was a 2-0 win over Lafayette College at Mike Bourger '44 Field at Oaks Stadium.
With the win, Fordham closes out its five-game season opening road test with a 2-2-1 record while Lafayette falls to 1-3-1.
Grad student
Sam Delgado got things going for the Rams with his first goal of the season in the 28
th minute. Delgado took a feed from freshman
Marco Cantalapiedra and beat the Lafayette keeper to put Fordham up 1-0.
The second Fordham goal came in the 67
th minute as the Leopards were whistled for a foul in the box. Freshman
Rayane Tchemmoun took the penalty kick for the Rams and scored his first goal of the season.
Junior
Shayon Kashi recorded two saves in the Fordham net to notch his second clean sheet of the year.

• The Rams outshot the Leopards, 16-7, led by five shots from Delgado.
• Fordham entered the match sixth in the NCAA in shots per game
• Nine of the 16 Ram shots were on goal, three of those from Tchemmoun.
• Fordham also entered the game fifth in the NCAA in corner kicks/game (8.75) and took five today.
• Five Rams played all 90 minutes in the match.
• Fordham has taken the past three meetings with the Leopards.
