Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham junior Andras Toth was one of 20 collegiate water polo student-athletes named to the 2026 Peter J. Cutino Award Watch List. The Peter J. Cutino Award, named in honor of the late Hall of Fame coach, recognizes the best player in men's and women's college water polo. This watch list was created in 2022 in an effort to help promote the collegiate game, awareness of the award, and the tremendous play of athletes across the country.
 
The 20 athletes on the list are recognized for their outstanding play as voted on by collegiate coaches from Air Force, Brown, Cal Baptist, Harvard, Iona, LMU, Long Beach State, Mount St. Mary's, Navy, Pepperdine, Princeton, Saint Mary's College, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UCLA, and USC.
 
This season, Toth is off to a hot start, scoring 27 goals for the 11-1 Rams, including six against #1 UCLA.
 
Toth has helped the Rams to the MAWPC title in both of his first two years and earned ACWPC First Team All-America honors last year. He was also named the MAWPC Most Valuable Player and First Team All-MAWPC after an incredible sophomore campaign. Toth set the Fordham single season record for goals scored with 134, breaking the mark of 114 by Jake Miller-Tolt in 2019.
 
The Rams, ranked fourth in the NCAA, return to action on Friday, October 9, as they host Wagner for a MAWPC match at 6:00 p.m. in the Messmore Aquatics Center.
